Are you a person of Asian descent?* Have you experienced racism in your life or in the life of your family – big or small incidents or of any description? We want to hear from you, listen, and help you tell your stories, in a safe friendly environment of like-minded people. Help us make sure your stories are told to and are heard by, those in positions of power and influence in our community. Work with us to suggest ways we can make your stories heard and find solutions so we can all work together to stop racism in Richmond. We are hoping for in-person meetings but this will depend on public health restrictions. *For this project a person of Asian descent is anybody with any personal or family origins in the Far East, Southeast Asia, or the Indian subcontinent including, for example, Cambodia, China, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippine Islands, Thailand, and Vietnam.
