Learn to grow winter herbs + greens in small indoor spaces, and join us in asking what it means to grow food ‘from home’ as a migrant in a new home. How do seeds and plants connect us across cultures and borders? Join us for a FREE community workshop led by Alisha Lettman to:
- Learn how to grow winter herbs and greens in small indoor spaces using recycled materials;
- Share conversations about seeds, plants, and ways of growing food from home;
- Make connections with other immigrants and newcomers, as well as long-time Richmond residents
Seeds, soil, and supplies will be provided. No experience is needed. Lunch and snacks will be provided. Childcare and transportation subsidies are available. To speak with someone about your individual needs, contact Alan Hill at alan@rmcs.bc.ca.
